Kasparov's greetings to opening of Petrosian's new monument

I am happy and excited to learn about the opening of a monument to Tigran Petrosian in Aparan.

I have communicated with Petrosian a lot, and this communication helped me greatly. He was a genuine classic. Petrosian’s rich experience, his exact estimation of the event on and off the chessboard were of great help to me, during the struggle for the World Champion title. And of course, it was traumatic for me when I lost my close friend and teacher Petrosian right before my first match.
