GM Gevorg Harutjunyan scored 8 points out of 11 and took the 13th place among the 249 participants of the open which was held in Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India. He was half a point behind the winners, GMs Kravtsiv (Ukraine), Aleksandrov (Belarus), Turov, Dreev, Kokarev (Russia) and IM Adhiban (India).

GM Hrair Simonian scored 7,5, GM Sergey Kasparov (Belarus) - 7, WIM Tatiana Kasparova (Belarus) 5,5 points.

Sergei Movsesian had a loss against Alexander Grischuk with the score of 0,5:1,5 in the quarter final of the World Rapid Cup which is being held in Odessa, Ukraine.

In the final Sergey Karjakin and Dmitry Jakovenko will play for the Cup of the ACP.

GM Sergei Movsesian won Arkadij Naiditsch (Germany) with the score of 1,5:0,5 in the first round of the World Rapid Cup which is being held in Odessa, Ukraine. Movsesian will play with Alexander Grischuk (Russia) in the quarter final.

16 Grandmasters took off in the 4th World Cup which is organized by the Association of Chess Professionals (ACP). Shirov, Karjakin, Eljanov, Jakovenko, M. Gurevich and Gashimov are continuing to play besides Movsesian and Grischuk.

GM Tigran Gharamian (France) scored 6 points out of 7 and took the first prize in the open which was held in Limburg, Netherlands. IM Mher Hovhanisian (Armenia) scored 5 points and took the 7th place among the 100 participants of the tournament.
 
26-May-2010 Kotanjian's Success in Tbilisi
 
GM Tigran Kotanjian scored 7,5 points out of 9 and shared the 1st-2nd places with GM Merab Gagunashvili (Georgia) in the open which was held in Tbilisi. Kotanjian was awarded the 2nd prize in the tie-break. GM Levon Babujian was behind the winners with half a point.

GM David Arutinian scored 6,5, GM Giorgi Bagaturov, Khachatur Eranyan - 6, GM Arsen Yegiazarian - 5,5 points.
