Rafael Vaganian is the only chess player who participated in all five World Team Championships. Vaganian was not present at the first round of the Yerevan tournament. The reason was worth it; today President of Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan handed the prominent chess players one of the highest rewards - a Movses Khorenatsy medal. The Armenian chess player was honored with the medal thanks to his long-year excellent achievements.
